Teeny Weeny Christmas Sweater/Jumper
These little sweeties take moments to knit, and they look great in Paintbox Yarns Simply DK! The sky’s the limit for decoration – if you’re good at embroidery, you can embellish to your heart’s content – and if not, glue on sequins, little jewels, and tiny pom poms!
Cast on 18 stitches
Row 1: K1, P1, knit to last two stitches, P1, K1
Row 2: P1, K1, knit to last two stitches, K1, P1
Row 3: 1, P1, knit to last two stitches, P1, K1
Row 4: P1, K1, knit to last two stitches, K1, P1
Row 5: Cast off 4 stitches, knit to last three stitches, cast off 3 and snip yarn to pull through the last stitch.
Row 6 – 16: Reattach yarn, and knit 10 rows in garter stitch.
Row 17 – 18: Knit two rows of 1×1 rib (K1, P1) and cast off.
Sew in ends.
Little Santa Hat
This sweet little hat has a tiny pom pom on top, and is a little festive touch that you can add to any gift!
Row 1: Cast on 12 stitches
Row 2: Knit four rows in white yarn
Row 3: Change to red yarn and knit to end
Row 4: Purl to end
Row 5: K2tog, knit to the last two stitches and K2tog
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: K2tog, knit to the last two stitches and K2tog
Row 8: Purl
Row 9: K2tog, knit to the last two stitches and K2tog
Row 10: Pull through last two stitches to cast off.
Sew in ends, and attach pom pom.
Pom pom on a fork!
When you need a tiny pom pom, make one on a fork!
Attaching your toppers:
You will have strings left from the mini pom poms that you can tie on to your gift tags. For the others, you can either stitch some yarn through to create a loop, or make a crochet chain.
